The unknown Wish
----------------
The forest, pitch dark but green
Makes me fear like at halloween.
I follow the narrow pathways,
Ever having a look to the sideways.
Shadows, surrounding me like enemies,
Watching - the fear tastes like candies.
There, listen, a noise creeping through the shadow
Sounds awful, scratching and hollow.
Light breaches through neverending green tree-tops
Scaring a little rabbit, makes him hop.
The sun gives light, shadows fading away
Revealing a warm and friendly May.
I enter an opening, birds flying high in the air,
And a sweet girl, sleeping there.
Lying in the grass like a beautiful treasure,
Her sheer existence, close to myself, gives me pleasure.
I move closer, but a deep river holds me off,
Feeling sorrow, neither being bold nor tough.
Closing my eyes, thinking of those birds and I wish,
I wish I could fly like a bird or swim like a fish.
Spreading out my arms, opening my eyes,
Wondering what happens, my body flies.
Steered and powered by my thoughts,
Somebody fulfills my deepest hopes.
Like a butterfly landing on a rose,
I reach out my finger, touching the sweet girl's nose.
Finally reached the unknown goal,
She repaired my wounded soul.
